Dale Stinson

Dale Stinson, 67, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2020 after an extended illness at Community Hospital Anderson. He was born October 27, 1952 in Anderson to the late, Richard & Frances (Scharnowske) Stinson. He graduated from Highland High School in 1970 then retired from Delco-Remy. Dale was an avid Colts fan and NASCAR fan, especially of Dale Earnhardt. He loved traveling with Mary Lou to many beaches or to the Smoky Mountains. When not traveling he spent time in his backyard admiring his flower garden and the many birds that enjoyed it as well. Dale is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Mary Lou (Buchert) Stinson; his best friend of over 30 years, King Herkomer; special friend, Joy Knotts; brother-in-law, Bruce (wife, Laura) Buchert; and beloved furbaby, Stella. A Celebration of Life will be at 4pm Thursday, October 29, at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory. With visitation from 2 pm until the time of services.
