Daisy Mae Davidson

Daisy Mae Davidson, 88, Lapel, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2015, at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville following a brief illness.

She was born on May 1, 1927, in Clarkrange, Tennessee to George and Catherine (Young) Todd.

Daisy retired in 1987 from the former Noblesville Healthcare Center.

She was a member of the Ford Street United Methodist Church.

She is survived by seven children, William (wife, Linda) Flanagare of Aurora, IL, Larry Poore of Harriman, TN, Ronnie (wife, Mary) McCollum of Las Vegas, NV, Kathy Wilson of Crossville, TN, Starla (husband, Andy) Griffin of Anderson and Rick McCollum of Lapel; seventeen grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charlie Davidson; one son, Tom McCollum; six brothers; and five sisters.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, January 2, 2016, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Pastor Stephen Holdzkom officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Lapel.

Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm Saturday, January 2, 2016, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to Ford Street United Methodist Church Phase Two Building Fund, P. O. Box 626, Lapel, Indiana 46051-0626.
