D. Scott Mcbroom

It is with great sadness the family and friends of D. Scott McBroom announces his passing on June 5, 2019 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Scott was born in Anderson, Indiana on August 19, 1970 to Linda Rae James McBroom and Malcolm F. McBroom.

Scott was employed at Hare Truck Center, in Noblesville, Indiana. He enjoyed his time with family and friends. Scott also loved cookouts, corn hole, Indianapolis Colts, Tennessee Volunteers, and playing Golden T with his buddies. He also loved spending time with his beautiful grandchildren.

Forever remembered by his wife of 19 years and best friend for 35 years DeVonna L. (Duncan) McBroom. Scott will also be lovingly missed by his three children; Josh Carroll, La Shea McBroom (Nathan Morefield) and Marty Fincannon; five grandchildren, Kaedyn, Braedyn, Keetyn, Teeghan and Marley; two brothers, Mike McBroom, Brian (Charity) McBroom; three sisters, Patty (Paul) Davis, Kim Little, Vicky (Paul) McBroom; sister-in-law, Denice (John) Crader; brother-in-law, James Harris; mother-in-law, Kay Harris. Scott was also survived by many nieces and nephews whom he shared a special bond with.

Scott was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Jackie McBroom and his great nephew Jo Jo McBroom.

A celebration of life cookout will be held on June 22, 2019 from 2pm to 7pm at the Lapel Eagles, 110 E. 9th St. Lapel, Indiana 46051.
