D. Louise Beanblossom, 95, Lapel, passed away Thursday, March 8, 2012, at Community Northview Care Center in Anderson following an extended illness. She was born on January 15, 1917, in Lapel, Indiana to Chester and Nelle (George) Graham. She was graduated from Lapel High School in 1935 and was graduated from the former Indiana Central College with a two-year teaching degree and from Butler University with a four-year teaching degree. Louise retired in 1979 from Lapel School after teaching 31 years. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church; the former Naomi Circle; Lapel Lady Lions. Louise was a gifted seamstress and craftswoman and enjoyed many winters of her retirement in Arizona. She is survived by one daughter, Sue Beanblossom of Lapel; two grandchildren, Ann (husband, Alan) Johnson of Chicago, IL and Douglas Watson of the United Arab Emirates; one great-grandson, Alexander Paul Johnson; one sister, Eulala Roettger of Anderson; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul Beanblossom; a daughter, Sandra Watson-Eley; four sisters, Hildred Adler, Mildred Willits, Rosemary Likens, Ruth Pritchard; two brothers, George Graham and Merrill Graham; and two nieces. The family would like to thank Community Northview Care Center for their loving care of Louise. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Monday, March 12, 2012, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Pastor Doug Barton officiating. Entombment will follow in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery, Anderson. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm Sunday, March 11, 2012, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel.
