Cyrena Desiree Cox, 49, of Arcadia, passed peacefully in her home on March 30, 2022, surrounded by her family and loved ones.Cyrena was born on October 1, 1972, to James Richard and Jillayne Yvarra (Blazier) Cox, who preceded her in death. She attended Noblesville High School, class of 1992. After leaving high school, Cyrena fulfilled her dream of motherhood. She had two sons, Zachary Gene Lutz and Aaron James Lutz.Cyrena had an absolute love of food! She worked as a cook for several years pairing her two passions, her love of food and preparing delicious food for people filled with love.In addition to her parents, Cyrena was preceded in death by both her maternal and paternal grandparents, as well as her sister, Dawn Marie (Cox) Campbell.Cyrena is survived by her sons, Zachary Lutz and Aaron Lutz; sisters, Michelle Smith, Melissa Pennington and Jamie Abbott; nephew and nieces, Jessica Melerowicz, Brandon Carroll, Matthew Pennington, Alyssa Abbott, Addie Bleu Campbell, Luke Pennington, Jerrod Abbott and Emma Abbott; great-nephew and nieces, Jaylan Melerowicz, Andi Melerowicz and Miley Melerowicz; and her precious grandchildren, Marcus Lutz, Garner Lutz, Ella Lutz and Zariah Lutz.A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, April 7, 2022, at Hersberger-Bozell Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel, Indiana, 46051 with Stephen Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery.Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Thursday, April 7, 2022, at the funeral home.Online condolences: www.hersbergerbozell.com
