Cynthia Peters

Cynthia "Cindi" Peters, 69, Lapel, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at her home following an extended illness.

She was born on August 12, 1946, in Prince George, Maryland.

She graduated from Madison Heights High School in 1990.

She is survived by four children, Evelyn Edmison of Lapel, Edmon (wife, Tammy) Peters of Arizona, Melissa Peters of Lapel, and Christina Hanson of Lapel; seven grandchildren, Tamara Peters, Cory Crago, Justin Peters, ShyAnn Edmison, Trey Peters, Harley Crago, and Jacob Peters; one brother, Donald (wife, Paulette) Maager of Anderson; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by Edmon F. Peters, Jr., a granddaughter, Ashley Peters, and a sister, Carol Powless.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
