Cynthia “Cindy” Hixson

Cynthia “Cindy” Hixson, 54, of Anderson, IN passed away on April 1, 2022 at Community Hospital. Cindy was born on April 22, 1967 in Anderson to Ronald J. and Linda K. (Skinner) Chapin. She married her loving husband, Rick Hixson, on September 19, 1987 and were married for 34 years. Cindy loved lighthouses and the color purple. But the most important thing to Cindy were her beautiful grandchildren. They were her whole world.
Cindy will be dearly missed by her husband, Rick; her mother, Linda; her children, Michael, Dillon, and Celena Hixson; her 7 grandchildren, Maylee, Elena, Lillyanna, Mazelynn, Deluca, Saylin, and Layhton; her brothers, Ron, Rusty, and Tracy Chapin; her sister, Angela Bowers; and her numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald.
The visitation will be on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, 46013.
