ANDERSON- Cynthia Darlene Miller, 66, of Anderson passed away on February 7, 2017 at IU Methodist Hospital following an extended illness. She was born on May 29, 1950 in Anderson to Clarence Edward Warmke, and the late Joyce Lorraine (Cruson) Warmke. Cindy graduated in 1968 from Highland High School. Before retiring after 15 years of service, she was an insurance agent with American Family Insurance. She enjoyed trying new recipes, sewing and knitting, and caring for her father. Her biggest passion, next to family, was making her home as comforting and welcoming as possible to anyone. Cindy was known for her enduring love for her family. She embodied sacrificial love and generosity to many people. She had a love of humor and her smile could light up a room. She is dearly missed by her family. Cindy is survived by her daughters; Laurie (Matthew) Shahnavaz of Fishers, Lana (Scott) Boswell of Indianapolis, Beth (Joe) Krejsa of Muncie; brother, Tom (Jann) Warmke of Pendleton; eight grandchildren, PV2 Noah Shahnavaz, Sarah Shahnavaz, Elijah Shahnavaz, William Boswell, Cooper Boswell, Chloe Krejsa, Anna Krejsa, Wyatt Krejsa; nephews, Brandon Warmke, Craig Warmke, and niece Kara Warmke. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and services will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, 515 E. 53rd St. Anderson. Burial will be at Anderson Memorial Park following the service.
