Cynthia Lynn "Cindy" Clendenen, 70, of Anderson, Indiana, passed away on January 27, 2025, at her home after a brave battle with pancreatic cancer. Born on January 17, 1955, in Great Lakes, Illinois, to Rex and Marilyn (Condon) Clendenen, Cindy was well-known and loved in her community.
A proud graduate of Madison Heights High School's class of 1973, Cindy made her mark in the time share industry as a dedicated salesperson. She was an active member of City Church, where her faith and community spirit shone brightly.
Cindy filled her leisure time with joy, becoming part of many local organizations, including the Elwood Moose, Elwood Elks, and Grandview Golf Course, where she proudly held the title of ladies champion for several years. A woman with a deep love for travel, she treasured the moments spent with family and friends.
Cindy is survived by her loving partner of 32 years, Steve Williams of Anderson; God Children, Farrah and Nathan Engle, Trevor Hulmes & Grile Shad; God grandson and God granddaughter, Jackson and Hannah; five siblings, Rex (Mary) Clendenen, Vickie Murray, David (Pam) Clendenen, Jenni Delong, and Scott (Laura) Clendenen.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A visitation for family and friends will take place on Thursday, January 30, 2025 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm at Bozell Funeral Homes, Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel, 515 East 53rd Street, Anderson, Indiana 46013.
A celebration of life funeral service will be held on Friday starting at 10:00am at the funeral home with Pastor Jay Harvey officiating.
