Curtis McNutt, 67 of Pendleton, passed away June 28, 2024, at Community Hospital after an extended illness.
He was born on October 8, 1956, in Anderson, Indiana to Darrel and Mary Ann (McGee) McNutt.
Curtis graduated from Pendleton Heights High School in 1974. He farmed the Scott Family Farm in Pendleton until his retirement.
Curtis was a member of the East Lynn Christian Church in Anderson. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps and was a former member of the Army Reserves. He loved racing and built his 1923 Model T Roadster. He also enjoyed fishing and his family.
Curtis is survived by his wife, Cindy McNutt; his parents, Darrel and Mary Ann McNutt; four children, Jamie (Jon) Hosier of Pendleton, Brody (Melissa Bowyer) Dickerson of Elwood, Jacob McNutt of Arkansas, Mandi (Devin) Griffith of Anderson; brother, Dan (Roxanne) McNutt of Anderson; sister, Cathy (Kevin) Wrigley of Bloomfield; five grandchildren, Tyler, Kinsey, Morgon, Blake, Gavin; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, July 5, 2024 at Bozell Funeral Homes, Lahm Chapel 211 E. State St., Pendleton, IN 46064. Visitation will take place from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Friday.
Burial will take place at Grovelawn Cemetery in Pendleton where military rights will be performed by the United States Marine Corps. and the Daleville American Legion.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Veterans of Madison County or to the American Cancer Society.
The Bozell family is honored to serve the McNutt family.
