Corey Aaron WiseJuly 11, 1989 – October 10, 2016Corey Aaron Wise passed away unexpectedly on October 10, 2016. Given his short journey on this earth, he impacted many people. From his early days “on stage” in many theatrical performances, he continued to “reach” people through his music. If there was a smile to be created within the room, Corey could turn any frown “upside down.”Upon graduating from Pendleton Heights High School in 2008, Corey continued his education at Mid America College of Funeral Service…He quickly moved from one adventure to another, as he sought happiness and “being true” to his soul. One thing he always carried with him was his music. Through his voice and instruments, he could touch one’s heart by the sheer passion in which he performed. It was the beauty of his handiwork that made him our gift from above. Always an original…he will forever be in our hearts. We will forever cherish his hugs and laughter. He brought sunshine to the cloudiest days…and that sunshine will never go away.Corey is survived by his mother, Bonnie (Raines) Fredericks; and brothers, Aric Tyler and Evan Shane Fredericks; and father, John Fredericks.A Celebration of LIfe service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, 211 E. State St., Pendleton, Indiana 46064 with visitation one hour prior to the service.Many thanks to the countless messages of condolences…It is a beautiful testimony to the life that Corey made, making others smile. Although his journey was much shorter than we would ever imagine, his lasting “acts of kindness” will be shared for many years.
