Cora Katherine Konkle

March 31, 1917 — January 10, 2015

Cora Katherine Cotton Konkle, 97, of Anderson, passed away January 10, 2015 at Bethany Pointe Health Campus following a brief illness.

Cora was born March 31, 1917 in Muncie, the daughter of the late John and Zella (May) Osborne. She has been a resident of Anderson since 1989 and was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.

She is survived by a daughter, Janet (husband Bob) Monroe of Greenwood; son, Tom (wife Gay) Cotton of Indianapolis; 14 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Cora was preceded in death by her first husband, Clarence “Tude” Cotton; her second husband, Donald Konkle; sons, Robert Konkle and John Konkle; daughter, Roberta Garland; 4 brothers; and 3 sisters.

Services will be at noon, Wednesday, January 14, at the Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, with Rev. Mike Konkle officiating. Burial will take place at the Danville South Cemetery, in Danville, at 4 p.m.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon, prior to services at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Special Olympics of Marion County (SOMC) 5760 Noble Dr. Indianapolis IN 46234
