Cody Reed Pidcock

Cody Reed Pidcock, 35, passed away on March 18, 2023. Cody was born on March 17, 1988 in Phoenix, Arizona to Scott Pidcock and Kelly (Mills) Pidcock. He was a member of the Boy Scout Troop 301 for several years and enjoyed camping year-round. At Anderson High School he played on the soccer team and graduated in 2006 with Academic Honors. After attending Ball State University for 2 years, he worked various jobs and then decided to start his own landscaping business. Cody loved being outside where he observed nature and insects.  He collected exotic house plants. A favorite vacation spot was Key West, Florida. He was constantly learning new skills and liked to tinker, especially with his car. He was an avid Kentucky Wildcat Fan and a true dog and cat lover.

Cody will be dearly missed by his parents, Scott Pidcock and Kelly Pidcock; sister, Carly Pidcock; grandmother, Jane Mills; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Albert Mills, and Carole and Edward Pidcock.

The visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, 515 E. 53^rd St., Anderson 46013. The funeral ceremony will be at 11:30 a.m., Friday, March 24, 2023 at the funeral home. Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery. All memorial contributions in Cody’s name may be gifted to New Horizons Methodist Church in support of “A Better Life- Brianna’s Hope”, 611 E 53rd St, Anderson, IN 46013.
