Clifford "Cliff" Lee Reed

On Monday, January 6, 2025, Clifford “Cliff” Lee Reed of Anderson, loving Father and Grandfather, died peacefully. Born February 25, 1936, in Blocher IN.; He was the son of the late Lula Mae Reed and Rolla Reed of Anderson IN; Brother of the late Marvin and (Sharon) Reed of Anderson IN, and the late Bob (Shirley) Foust of Lapel IN. Cliff was a loving husband and father and was preceded in death by his wife, Lavella Jean Reed; two sons, Steve Reed and Bryan Reed; and daughters-in-law, Debbie and Tammy. He is remembered by his partner, Brigitte Dodd, sons, Jay (Peggy) Reed, David Reed, and Bruce (Laura) Reed and Brigitte’s daughters, Sherilyn “Sherry” (Dan) Stapleton of Anderson IN; Connie (Scott) Childs of Dayton OH; Linda (Darrell) Shupperd of Tipton IN. He was a loving Grandfather of Nathan (Krissy) Reed of Indianapolis IN; Jeremy Reed of Anderson IN; Ashlee (Amy) Reed of Chicago Illinois; Andrew (Amanda) Reed of Anderson IN; Curtis (Abby) of Pendleton IN; Amanda (Aaron) Reed of Indianapolis IN; Kyle Reed of Anderson IN; Kaleb Reed of Anderson IN and Jordan Reed of Anderson IN; Cliff is also survived by many great-grandchildren. 

Cliff is remembered by those that knew him for his mischievous smile, his stories, and his kindness. He was an avid fan of the Cincinnati Reds and a proud Lapel Bulldog. He loved his family. 

His visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Thursday, January 9, 2025, at Bozell Funeral Homes-Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel, 515 E. 53rd Street, Anderson, IN 46013. The funeral ceremony will begin at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. The burial will take place in Brookside Cemetery, Lapel, IN. Cliff’s services have been entrusted to Bozell Funeral Homes.
