Cleopha Josephine Morano

Cleopha Josephine (Hewitt) Morano, 96, formerly of Anderson passed away on Friday August 20, 2021, at her home in Branson, Missouri. Cleopha was born on June 18, 1925, in Kokomo, Indiana to Ed and Glendola Hewitt, Sr. Her family moved to Anderson as a child, and she was a graduate of Anderson High School. Cleopha was a devoted wife to her husband, Charles Morano, Jr. and her daughter, Charlene. Among Cleopha’s hobbies of interest was traveling, and she was very proud of her trip to Hawaii and to Mexico. Cleopha is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Charlene and Jerry Curtis of Branson, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings: Ed Hewitt, Jr., Mona Vaughn, and Katherine Chesterfield. Funeral service for Cleopha will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory. Burial will follow in Anderson Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
