Clarence "Bud" and Terry Mabbitt

PENDLETON- Clarence “Bud” Eugene Mabbitt, 71, and Terry Lee Mabbitt, 74, of Anderson passed away together in their home on June 10, 2024. Bud was born on October 15, 1952, in Anderson to the late Clarence A. Mabbitt and Dorothy A. (Garrison) Crumley. Terry was born on March 10, 1950, in Anderson to the late Richard Cecil and Thelma Louise (Dowden) Aynes. Terry graduated from high school and began a 33-year career with Delco-Remy/General Motors before retiring. Bud faithfully served our country in the United States Marine Corp and was honorably discharged before he began working as a firefighter for the City of Anderson. Terry loved having a girl’s night out with some very close friends. While Bud enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle, and talking on his CB radios. Most importantly, these two loved their families.

Bud and Terry will be dearly missed by their son, Corey (Jennifer) Fisher; grandchildren, Cody and Colton Fisher, Julian and Deacon Mabbitt, Reagan Rains, Kayla (Cody) Tarrance, Dalton Walker, and Sahara Walker; great-grandchildren, Cayson Fisher, Lilly Scott, and Bellamy Tarrance; Terry’s sister, Mary (Bob) Mabbitt; Bud’s brother, Robert “Bob” (Mary) Mabbitt; sister-in-law, Trena Aynes; nieces and nephew, Courtney Aynes, Angie Dwiggins-Humphrey, and Bryant Moore; their late sons significant other, Katie Rains; Bud’s “brother for life”, John Buckley and his wife, Birdie; Terry’s very close friend, Mary (Berry) Eichelberger and her girl’s for girl’s night, Janice “Jan” Case, JoEllen Menix, Theresa Smith, Cindy Wallace, and all the others who joined them; and Bud’s very close friends, Darrell (deceased) and Pat Bailey, Derrick Mitchem, his brothers and sisters from the Anderson Fire Department, and all of his CB radio friends.

They were preceded in death by their parents, son, Matthew Mabbitt, niece, Morgan Mabbitt, and Terry’s brothers, Bill “Wilbur” Aynes and Rick Aynes.

The celebration of life gathering for Bud and Terry will take place on Saturday, June 29, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the American Legion Post 127, 4118 Columbus Ave., Anderson, IN 46013. Bud and Terry’s services have been entrusted to Bozell Funeral Homes-Lahm Chapel, we are honored to serve them.
