“If a picture paints a thousand words Then why can’t I paint you? The words will never show The you I’ve come to know If a face could launch a thousand ships Then where am I to go? There’s no one home but you You’re all that’s left me too And when my love for life is running dry You come and pour yourself on me If a man could be two places at one time I’d be with you Tomorrow and today Beside you all the way If the world should stop revolving Spinning slowly down to die I’d spend the end with you And when the world was through Then one by one the stars would all go out Then you and I would simply fly away” -I will always love you Chris-Mom Christopher “Chris” Jordan Van Buskirk, 40, passed away August 18, 2021. There will not be any traditional services for Chris. He could not be in the military but if he had he’d expect a horse drawn caisson & gun salute. So that was out. He also discussed a Viking funeral ship that would be set afloat and flaming arrows shot toward it, but again, that was not an option. So to celebrate Chris’s life, please each and everyone of you, do so in your own away. Whether that is by gaming, having a bonfire, releasing a balloon, or just scream at the sky. Chris connected with so many people around the world through gaming and social media. He is survived by his mother, Sally; his fur babies, Marley, Angel Bug, and Michael Baboo Bear; his uncles, Bud, Mike, & Reed; aunts, Terry & Cathy; cousins, Jason & David; his father, Kevin Bruce; and special friends, Ellis & Anita. Christopher had worked for several places. He had worked as a historical interpreter at Connor Prairie, security for several companies, Segway tours at the canal in Indianapolis, and for Stericycle.
