Christopher David Nicholson

Christopher David Nicholson, 53, former Anderson resident passed away, Wednesday, October 7, 2015, following an extended illness. He was born December 18, 1961, in Galesburg, Illinois to David and Soteria (Pancol) Nicholson. Chris graduated from Madison Heights High School in 1980. While in high school, he participated in football and baseball. He is survived by his mother, Soteria Nicholson of Anderson; one brother, Michael (wife, Deborah) Nicholson of Lapel; one son, Matthew Beau Nicholson of Mississippi; two nieces, Alli and Sophie Nicholson; and a nephew, Noah Nicholson A memorial service will be held at 4:30 pm, Sunday, October 11, 2015, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home with Pastor Dawn Cuthbert officiating. Private burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm, Sunday, October 11, 2015, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 606, Lapel, Indiana 46051-0606.
