Tinka left Lost Woods and went to the Big Party March 4, 2020 after a courageous five year battle with cancer. Born in Jackson, Michigan in 1946, Tinka was a member of the 1964 Markleville High School Arabians graduating class where she was active in the 4-H Club and cheerleading. She also attended Ball State University. She worked as a secretary at General Motors for 18 years, retiring in 1990. She loved crafting, jewelry making, antiquing and gardening on her farm as well as laughing and spending time with her friends. Tinka is survived by her son John Michael Stinson, and her long-time boyfriend, Randy Tweedy, who has been an invaluable help to her family during this difficult time. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Helen (Havens) Sonoff, and a brother, Steve Sonoff. At Tinka’s request, she will be cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory is honored to help her family at this time.
