Cheryl Sue Norris

Cheryl Sue Norris, 67, Lapel, passed away Friday, January 18, 2013, at Saint Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital following a brief illness. She was born on May 17, 1945, in Anderson, Indiana to Everett and Lorene (Rich) Coverdale. She graduated from Lapel High School in 1963. Sue had worked at the Lapel Branch of the Anderson Public Library for many years. She enjoyed the out of doors and gardening, especially flowers. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, James E. "John" Norris; one daughter, Kim (husband, Jeff) Mackey of Lapel; one granddaughter, Whitney Mackey of Lapel; one sister, Jane Alyne of McCordsville. She was preceded in death by her parents. A celebration of her life will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Monday, January 21, 2013, at Lapel Eagles Aerie 4323, 9th and John Streets, Lapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Madison County Humane Society, 2219 Crystal Street, Anderson, Indiana 46012. The family would like to thank her co-workers, Teresa, Susan, and Bonnie and her friend Lavonne for their continued support.
