Cheri L. Timmons

Cheri Beckley Thomas Timmons, 71, of Anderson, passed away Nov. 15, 2020 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. She was born August 9, 1949, in Anderson, the daughter of the late James and Mary Beckley and was a lifelong Anderson resident. She had been employed in the Aerospace industry as a machinist. Sheri enjoyed gardening, working in her flower beds, fishing, visiting Metamora and especially spending time with her family. Cheri is survived by her sons, James (Tammy) Thomas and Richard (June) Thomas II; grandchildren, Mackenzie (Gary) Hamilton, Makala Thomas, Lydia Thomas, Jonathan Thomas, Jordan Jenkins; great-grandchildren, Dreydan, Aubrey, Cambria, Carter, Jentezen; nephew, Josh Beckley and family; niece, Jessica Beckley and family; and a sister-in-law, Betty Beckley. She was preceded in death by her son, Edwin Thomas; daughter, Simone Newton; brother, Fredric Beckley; and a sister, Lenora Jackson. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory with Rev. Fred Stevens Sr. officiating. Burial will follow at East Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the service. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Madison County Humane Society.
