Charlotte Lee Howe

Charlotte Lee Howe, 87, of Shirley, Indiana, passed away March 28, 2025, at Clearvista Place in Indianapolis following an extended illness.

She was born on May 3, 1937, in New Castle to Kyle Cook and Lucille Cook.

She worked briefly for the State of Indiana in the tax office. She also worked briefly for Eastern Hancock High School in the cafeteria. She enjoyed most of her life as a homemaker.

Charlotte graduated from Wilkinson High School, and attended the Shirley Christian Church, was a member of Order of Eastern Star, and the Red Hat Society. She love to travel.

Charlotte is survived by her daughter, Pamela Howe of Indianapolis; and one niece and one nephew.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Howe; parents; Kyle, and Lucille (Chadwick) Cook; and a sister June Richey and one niece and one nephew.

A graveside service will be held Monday, April 7, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. at Glenn Cove Cemetery in Knightstown, IN with pastor Gary Cable officiating.
