Charley Frank

Charles “Charley” Frank, 63, of Anderson, passed away March 30, 2018 at his residence. Charley was born, January 15, 1955 in Watseka, Ill., to Roger and Doris Frank. He graduated from Cissna Park Senior High School in 1973 where he was an excellent athlete and an outstanding basketball, baseball and shotput player. Charley attended Illinois State University where he studied physical education (PE). He had a great sense of humor, a generous spirit, and a willingness to help others. He worked as a bartender and for Go Associated Fence for many years. He was an animal lover and took care of their household and neighborhood cats. He is survived by his life partner and teammate of 29 years, Pamela Taylor; a daughter, Kelsey Jude Frank-Coverly; three granddaughters, Kristin, Karley, Katelynn Turner; stepdaughters, Lorie Hutson and her four children, Lislie Sayers and her three children; and four step great grandchildren. Charley was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Cri-Cri Frank. A time of family sharing will be 2 p.m. Friday, April 6th, at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory. Burial will follow at East Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:30 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family, at the funeral home, on the day of the service, or at GoFundMe Charley Frank Funeral Fund. The family will be gathering for a celebration of life with a potluck and bring your own beverage event directly after the graveside service at Redbud Estates Banquet House (behind the office) located at 1800 West 38th Street, Anderson IN 46013.
