Charles Sparks

Charles “Chuck” Sparks, 55, of Anderson, passed away August 18, 2014 at his residence.

He was born on July 4, 1959, in Anderson and has lived in Anderson all of his life.

Chuck graduated from Anderson High School in 1978 and had been working at Community Hospital for the past 20 years.

He was survived by mother, Jacqueline “Jackie” Brown; father, Melvin (Lana) Holland; daughter, Heather Sparks Coblentz; former wife, Phyllis Sparks; five brothers and sisters, Chris (Jane) Holland, Steve (Donna) Holland, Tina (Kevin) Shambaugh, Zonda (Greg) Jarvis and Jenee (Jerry) Wilber; grandchildren, Evan, Hannah, Gavin and Levi Hulett; nieces and nephews, Amanda, Ashley and Autumn Holland, Chelsea and Austin Jarvis, Audrey Shambaugh, David (Jeanne) Reed and Cheyenne Reed; great nieces and nephews, Mackayla Holland, Lilly Shambaugh, Dakota Reed and Piper Reed.

He was preceded in death by his adopted parents, Beulah and Charles Sparks; step father, Freidus Brown; special friends, Max Johnson and Steve McClintick.

You may come in casual dress and if you ride, ride your bike.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Chris Mishler officiating. Cremation will follow the service.

Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
