Charles Lee Soverns, 58, of Pendleton, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at his home in Pendleton, following a brief illness. 

He was born on November 13, 1965, in Bainbridge, Maryland to Charles Lewis and Donna J. (Bolender) Soverns. 

He was a graduate of Lapel High School. He worked as a pipefitter in fire protection.

He had played baseball as a child and loved it. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, mushroom hunting, and was an avid outdoorsman. He loved being an uncle and spending time with his nieces and nephews. He enjoyed going to concerts and amusement parks. Charles was a good friend and loved everyone.

Charlie is survived by his father, Charles Soverns; two brothers, Chris (wife, Robin)Soverns and Clay Soverns; one sister, Dana (husband, Kent) Lycan; one aunt, Darla Bragg; two uncles, Wayne Soverns and John Soverns; and six nieces and nephews, Desmond, Morgan, Torey, Spencer, Emma and Lissy. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Donna Soverns and s niece, Ashley. 

Cremation will take place. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Bethany Christian Church,1920 North Rangeline Road, Anderson, Indiana 46012. A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 PM at the church. Following the service, there will be a dinner at the Lapel Lions Club, 329 South Main Street, Lapel, Indiana 46051.
