Charles R. "Chuck" Giddings, 79, Arcadia, passed away Monday, April 17, 2017, at his home following an extended illness.
He was born on September 13, 1937, in Noblesville, Indiana to Cecil and Esther Giddings.
Chuck retired from the former Firestone Industrial Products in Noblesville.
He enjoyed hunting; taking rides in the country; working in the yard; and spending time with his family.
Chuck is survived by two children, Rich Giddings of Arcadia and Lori (husband, Richard) Gray of Brooksville, FL; three grandchildren, Lindsay, Jessie, and Matthew Litzelman; two great-grandchildren, Gracey and Elisha Litzelman; one brother, Cecil (wife, Janet) Giddings of Noblesville; and two sisters, Patty Ann (husband, Harry) Vandiver of Elwood and Rosemary (husband, Bobby) Soulet of Slidell, LA.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 53 years, Orabelle (Wells); a daughter, Patty Giddings-Waugh; and a brother, Bobby Joe Giddings.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, April 21, 2017, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 Main North Street, Lapel, Indiana with Rev. Timothy Brock officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Friday, April 21, 2017, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 Main North Street, Lapel.
