Charles Philbert

Charles Parton Philbert, 77, passed away January 31, in Muncie.

He was born on August 13, 1938, to the late Charles W. & Roxie Irene (Parton) Philbert. He attended Pendleton High School and was a former Pendleton resident.

He retired from Millwright Local #1003 at age 62. He also had worked at Ford Motor Comp for 10 years and various fabrication shops in the Indianapolis area. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his children, Chuck Philbert of Leesburg, FL, Steven (wife, Marie) Philbert of Milwaukee, WI, Brian Philbert of Indianapolis, and Amy Philbert of Pendleton; grandchildren, Stephanie Philbert, Angela (husband, David) Lawless, Rosemary ElFrink, Scarlett (Kameron Graddy) Philbert, and Damon Philbert; two step-grandchildren, Junyong and Ohyong Chung; five great grandchildren; one brother; two sisters; several nieces and nephews; and beloved toy poodle, Fifi

He was preceded in death by his grandchildren, Tonya & Scot Philbert.

Services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 6, at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time of services.
