Charles Edward Moore

Charles Edward "Ed" Moore, 69, of Frankton, passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2025, at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis.

He was born on January 22, 1956, in Noblesville, Indiana to Louie and Dorothy (Purkey) Moore.

He retired from Brockway Glass as a journeyman operator after 24 years of employment. He also drove a concrete truck and dump truck for Beaver materials.

He was a member of Florida Station Church of God in Anderson. He loved to travel. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping and boating. He loved campfires. He enjoyed cutting trees. He loved helping children through fundraising for Riley Children's Hospital. Ed also loved hunting with his son and dogs, loved his family and loved spending time watching all of his grandchildren's sporting events. 

Ed is survived by his wife, Pamela (Jannings) Moore; a son, Charles Edward "Chuck" (wife, Dawnetta) Moore of Alexandria; a daughter, Rene (husband, Bill) Barton of Frankton; brother, Walter L. (Susie) Moore of French Lick; seven grandchildren, Leigha Rene Barton (CJ Corbett), Gracelyn Marie Gullion (Collin Grott), Charles Nathan Moore (Addie Brobston), Emmalyn Marie Gullion, Addisyn Lynn Moore, Brynlyn Marie Gullion, and Shaylyn Marie Gullion; three great-grandchildren, Halex, Athena and Corbett; and several nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Debbie Carey. 

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday at Bozell Funeral Homes, Lapel Chapel, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel, Indiana 46051.

A funeral service will be held at 11:30 am on Friday, at the funeral home with Pastors Jerry Hilligoss and Doug Doan officiating.
