Charles K. Pruitt

Charles K. "Chuck" Pruitt, 81, Lapel, passed away Monday, December 18, 2017, at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville.
He was born on October 3, 1936, in Indianapolis to Hollen and Jessie (Ruff) Pruitt.
Chuck was graduated from Arsenal Tech High School.
He retired in 1993 from the Carpenters Union.
Chuck enjoyed dancing; and working on cars, especially his vintage Mustang.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra (Powell); three children, Michael and Bryan Pruitt, and Lori Jones; three step-children, Robert Lee Warfield, Jr., William Warfield, and Melinda Warfield; four grandchildren, Kyle, Matthew, Brandice, and Taylor.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, December 29, 2017, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel with Pastor Glenn Knepp officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Lapel.
Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, December 28, 2017, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel.
