Charles Isaac Holsinger, youngest child of Otho Isaac and Viola Arzula (Flora) Holsinger, was born April 5, 1963 in Anderson, Indiana. He peacefully departed this life on May 4, 2022, at the age of 59, at his home in Pendleton, Indiana.
Charles was born with Downs Syndrome, making him “special”, not just to his parent’s and siblings, but to the church family he loved. His sunny nature and loving heart endeared him to those who learned to know him. His caregivers also treasured his sweet loving personality, as they provided respite care when that need developed.
Charles lived at home with his parents, and after the death of his father provided assistance to his sister Nancy in caring for their mother. After her death, Charles was then lovingly cared for at home until God called him home.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents and a niece, Bonnie Miller.
Left to mourn his absence are his siblings: his brother Daniel (Frances); 4 sisters Lydia Miller, Nancy Holsinger, Martha (Ivan) Mason, and Rachel (Norman) Mason; brother-in-law, Harold Miller; sister-in-law, Irene Holsinger;13 nephews and nieces, 38 great-nephews and nieces; an aunt, Beverly Dyke; and numerous cousins, friends and neighbors.
The Lord doth all things well!
