Charles H. Lucas, 73 of Noblesville, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2016 , at his residents following a short illness.

He was born on November 20, 1943, in, Swandale, West Virginia, to Hubert and Helen (Moore) Lucas.

Charles graduated from Clay High School in West Virginia in 1962.West Virginia. He retired after 40 years as an electrician with Cameron Electric in Indianapolis. He was a trustee and a 20 year member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carolyn (King) Lucas; daughter, Teresa (husband, James) Smith of Ingalls; son, Anthony, (wife, Connie) Lucas of Anderson; five grandchildren, Ray Lucas, Jessica Lucas, Adam King, Raine King, and Alicia Smith; three great-grandchildren Kadience Lucas, Hartleigh Lucas, and Brandon Earlywine; one brother, Sam (wife, Charlotte) Lucas; one sister Gwen (husband Steve) Nikirk, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter Carlena Spencer.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, November 29, 2016, at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 11818 State Road 32 East, Noblesville, IN 46060 with Pastor Mark Lowe officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Lapel.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Tuesday, November 29, 2016, at The Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, Noblesville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 11818 State Road 32 East, Noblesville, IN 46060.
