Ms. Carolyn Kintner

Carolyn “Cookie” Sue Kintner, 79, passed away Friday, September 10, 2021, at her residence surrounded by her loved ones. She was born February 28, 1942, in Anderson to the late, Herbert & Bernice (Tucker) Schildmeier. Carolyn married Henry James Kintner on August 30, 1969. She retired from Guide Lamp and was a proud member of the UAW. Carolyn is survived by her children, Lynn (husband, Warren) Shleburn & Joseph (significant other, Dollie King) Kintner; siblings, Louis Dixon, Gwen Craig, Jeannie Hallenbeck, & Ronald “Butch” Schildmeier; grandchildren, Tyler Long, Cotie Long-Ritter, Paige Kingery, & Hunter Kingery; & great grandson, Titan Long. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James; sibling, Mary Kathryn “Kakkie” Downam, Rex Schildmeier, & Jerry Schildmeier. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:30 pm Wednesday, September 15, at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory. Visitation will be held from 12:30 pm until the time of services. Memorial contributions may be made the American Cancer Society.
