Carol Muriel Mills

Carol Muriel Gaugel Mills, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 10, 2015. She was born on September 9, 1920, in Chicago, Illinois to Fred and Muriel (Oakes) Gaugel. She moved to Anderson in 1938 and graduated from Anderson High School. Carol was a founding member of Faith Community Church of Noblesville. She was an Avon representative and sang professionally as weddings for over 35 years. Carol was a long-time and beloved volunteer at Riverview Hospital. She is survived by two sons, J. Michael Brown and John Howard Mills; five grandchidlren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Howard Mills, Jr.; and a daughter, Suzanne Mills. Carol was interred at Brookside Cemetery, Lapel on May 11, 2015. A celebration of Carol's life will be a part of the worship service at Faith Community Church, 19201 Promise Road, Noblesville on Sunday, June 7, 2015, at 10:30 am.
