Carol Ann Auker, 82, of Anderson, passed away on December 29, 2020 at her residence. She was born on November 11, 1938 in Shelbyville, Indiana to the late Wilbur and Ruth (Rooney) Hartman. Carol worked in the Private Home Health Care industry for many years. She was a member of Aletheia Church where she was active with the prayer chain. She was past President of the Madison County Women’s Republican Party and received the Lincoln Award president by Mitch Daniels in 2007. She was a avid Pacers and Sports fan. Survivors include her children, Bradley Eugene Auker of Greencastle, David (Eko) Auker-Whitesell of Anderson, Paul (Tina) Auker of Indianapolis, Jean (John) Tipton of Bowling Green, Kentucky; sister, Peggy (Jim) McCain; 11 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Carol was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Brian Auker Milliner, Mark Auker and brother, Jerry Hartman. Per Carol’s wishes, there will be no services. Cremation will take place. Mary Lou Brown, 84, of Anderson, passed away on November 12, 2020 at St. Vincent Regional Hospital. She was born on March 9, 1936 in Elwood to the late Lawrence and Ethel (Gordon) Hobbs.
