Carla Dawn Stuck, 37, Noblesville, passed away Saturday, November 13, 2010, at Indiana University Hospital in Indianapolis following an eight month illness.
She was born on August 15, 1973, in Anderson, Indiana to Charles and Linda (Bodenhorn) Rich, Jr.
She graduated from Lapel High School in 1991 and received a bachelors degree in public relations from Ball State University in 1995.
Carla was a creative and caring spirit who had a wide range of friends. She was active in various churches and donated her time to Boys and Girls Clubs and many homeless shelters. Her most passionate pursuit was as a writer of stories and poems.
Her proudest accomplishment was her success as a mother.
She is survived by her son, Dalton Stuck; her parents, Linda Rich; and Charlie Rich, Jr. both of Anderson; one brother, Mike (wife, Laura) Rich of Noblesville; his children, Paige and Luke; an uncle, Stuart (wife, Terry) Bodenhorn of Oklahoma and their daughters, Heather and Erin.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Charles and Mary Rich, Sr.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm Tuesday, November 16, 2010, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Pastor Jim Tallman officiating. Burial will take place at Brookside Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm Tuesday, November 16, 2010, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel.
