Carl L. Castor, Sr.

Carl L. Carlos Castor, Sr., 65, Anderson, passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2010, at Community Hospital of Anderson following a sudden illness.
He was born on September 19, 1945, in Madison County, Indiana to John and Ollie (Horn) Castor.
He graduated from Lapel High School in 1963.
Carl had been a maintanence supervisor at Mounds Mall in Anderson at one time.
He is survived by three sons, Carl Castor, Jr. of Severville, TN, Scott Castor of Linden, and Curtis Castor of Indianapolis; his mother, Ollie (Horn) Castor of Frankton; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marie (husband, Phil) West, and Wanda (husband, David) Croy both of Frankton; and two brothers, Jimmy Castor, and Terry (wife, Debrorah) Castor both of Anderson.
He was preceded in death by his father; a daughter, Tammy Castor; a brother, Gene Castor; and a sister, Joyce VanDuyn.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, December 27, 2010, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with. Burial will follow in East Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson.
Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm Monday, December 27, 2010, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel.
