Carl Edward (Ed) Yount

Carl Edward (Ed) Yount, 92, formerly of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully with family, Thursday, August 3, 2023 in Burleson, Texas.

He was born September 5, 1930 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was a graduate of Arsenal Tech High School in Indianapolis. On April 21, 1950 he married Velma Gratner and together raised two children, Jayne and Garry. Ed worked for and retired from Colonial bakery after 35+ years.

He is survived by his son Garry W. (Linda) Yount of Newland North Carolina; his daughter Jayne A (Raymond) Bardwell-Wesolowski of Bedford Texas; granddaughters, Jill Marie Bardwell of Fort Worth, Texas; Kristina Lynne (Donnie) Shaw of Grandview, Texas and great-grandsons, Dylan Behlen, Ryan Shaw and Jaxon Shaw.

Graveside Services will be held Saturday August 12, 2023 at 11 a.m. in Mendon Cemetery, 4876 W.1050 S., Pendleton, Indiana 46064.
