Candeda R. Snead

Candeda R. Snead, 46, of Anderson, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2024, at Community Hospital in Anderson. 

She was born on January 13, 1978, in Tipton, Indiana to Phillip Wilkey and Carol (Harrison) Snead. 

She was a Lapel High School graduate and earned her associate's degree from Ivy Tech Community College. She had worked for Liberty Mutual Insurance as a call representative.

She enjoyed 5D diamond painting. She loved spending time with her family and loved to sew. 

Candeda is survived by her husband, James Couch; two daughters, Victoria Wilkey (Christopher Corbin) and Clara Wilkey; two brothers, Roy Wilkey and Bradley Alexander; and nieces and nephews, Khloe, Alexis and Zane. 

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Dennis Lee Snead; her parents; and an aunt, Ruth Harris. 

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, September 6, 2024, at Bozell Funeral Homes, Lapel Chapel, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel, Indiana 46051 with Leloa Cornwell Roach officiating. 

Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
