C. Ralph Schwab

C. Ralph Schwab, 89, of Anderson passed away on October 28, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 27, 1935, in Ingalls, IN to the late Harold A. and Hazel (Gunyon) Schwab. He graduated from Anderson High School in 1956. Ralph married the love of his life, Linda Johnson, and the two were married for 67 years. He owned and operated Stanley Steemer in Anderson for a number of years until his retirement. Ralph enjoyed traveling to Ft. Myers Beach, Florida, to their winter home. He also loved boating, skiing, snowmobiling, riding motorcycles, and working in his yard. Ralph never met a stranger and enjoyed sharing his stories with his friends at McDonalds. The most important thing to Ralph was spending time with his family.

Ralph will be dearly missed by his wife, Linda; daughters, Pam Parks, Deborah (Jerry) Thompson, and Sherry (Scott) Richardson; eight grandchildren, Andrew Balser, Aaron Balser, Kari (Marty) Tabor, Amanda (Jeremy) Acker, Kelli (Blaire) Allen, Zach (Juliana) Richardson, Shelby (Grant) Detrick, and Ashley (Jonathan) Stump; nine great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Elaina, Eleanor, Christian, Leo, Diana, Sam, Calvin, and Margot; and Annie and Zoey.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Charles R. Schwab and Sonny Schwab.

The visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, October 31, 2024, at Bozell Funeral Homes-Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, IN 46013. The funeral ceremony will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 1, 2024, at the funeral home. The burial will be in Grovelawn Cemetery in Pendleton, IN.

Memorial contributions may be given to Grateful Rescue, https://www.gratefulrescue.org/ or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Ralph's services have been entrusted to Bozell Funeral Homes.
