C Blaine Jarrett

October 31, 1946 — March 23, 2003

Blaine Jarrett, 56, Indianapolis, passed away Sunday March 23, 2003, at Community Hospital East in Indianapolis after a sudden illness.
He was born on October 31, 1946, in Anderson, Indiana to Leon and Letitia (McClintick) Jarrett.
He was a 1964 graduate of Lapel High School and was a U. S. Army veteran. He had been formerly employed at Wells Flowers and Gifts for 18 years and was currently employed by McNamara Florist. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Lapel, Footlite Musicals and Buck Creek Players. He had performed at many theaters in and around Indianapolis including 25 years at The Blue Bird Dinner Theater.
He is survived by his mother, Letitia Jarrett of Lapel; one sister, Sherry Bixler of Middletown; an uncle, Max (wife, Darrah Gale) Jarrett of Columbus; an aunt, Hazel McClintick of Indianapolis; several cousins; special friend of the family, Jeffery Neese of Indianapolis; and a host of other special friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leon Jarrett.
Service will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday at Trinity United Methodist Church in Lapel with Rev. Evan Lash officiating. Burial will be at the Brookside Cemetery, Lapel.
Friends may call from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday at the Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Blaine Jarrett Memorial Scholarship Fund, Buck Creek Players, 11150 Southeastern Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46259.
