Brian Perry

Brian Perry, 47, of Anderson, passed away January 18, 2019, at St. Vincent Hospital Indianapolis from heart complications. He was born Dec. 5, 1971, in Anderson, the son of Joseph and Sherilee Perry. Brian worked for Anderson Transit as a school bus driver and Transportation Director for many years. He enjoyed driving his bus and loved all his students. He loved to travel and vacation with his family. Brian loved his cats Snoody, Kaylee’is and KayaKaMaya and treated them just like his children. Brian is survived by his husband, Steven Cheever-Perry, step-daughter Katelynn Cheever, father, Joseph “Bill” Perry; brothers, Rodney Perry, Michael (Jennifer) Perry and Robert “BJ” Perry; nieces and nephews, Hollie Perry, Kyle Johnson, Alexis Johnson, Brylinn Perry, Brennan Perry; great nephews, Landyn and Camdyn Maupin. A long with many other friends and family too numerous to mention. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sherilee Perry; and sister, Nikki Jo Perry. Brian will be remembered for his big heart, larger than life personality, and his love of family, friends, and animals. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
