Brandon Lee Carder, 31, Lapel, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2012, as the result of an automobile accident. He was born on April 13, 1981, in Portsmouth, New Hampshire to James and Lorie (Roberts) Carder. He graduated from Lapel High School in 1999 and was an avid golfer, hunter, and Ohio State Buckeye fan. Brandon was employed at Flutes, Inc. in Indianapolis. He is survived by his mother, Lorie Roberts of Lapel; his father, James Carder of Ellwood City, PA; his daughter, Paisley Carder of Pendleton; a sister, Brandi Carder of Lapel; a brother, Bryce Flowers of Lapel; a half-sister, Jade Carder of Eunice, LA; a half-brother, Andrew Carder of Eunice, LA; his maternal grandparents, Jim and Wilma Roberts of Lapel; his paternal grandparents, James and Jane Carder of Middlefield, OH; his companion, Brook Grantham of Pendleton; a special friend, Hannah Clark of Lapel; a niece, Amiah Cunningham; a nephew, Layton Carder; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins including Terrie and Doug Huntzinger and Mindy and Jason Pigg. A funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm Wednesday, August 15, 2012, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Pastor James Flowers officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Lapel. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm Wednesday, August 15, 2012, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel.
