Mr. Boyce Ray Wood

Boyce Ray Wood, 81, passed away Monday, January 17, 2022. He was born July 21, 1940, in New Boston, OH to the late, W.C. & Nina (White) Wood. Boyce was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He worked as an accountant, having retired from Mahoney-Heineman & Co PC. He was an avid tennis player and also enjoyed golf. Boyce is survived by his daughter & son-in-law, Jennifer & Christian Caldwell; stepson, Darin Townsend; grandchildren, Emily, Clay, & Caroline Caldwell, Jerod, Alex, & Annie Wood; step grandchildren, Kacey Bennett, Keely, Chloe, & Tanner Townsend; sister, Charlotte Hogan; mother of his children, Charlene Wood; daughter-in-law, Melissa Wood-Evans; nephew, Kim Wood of Anderson and several other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Greg Wood; brothers, Travis, Rod, Hal, & Pete Wood; sister, Isla Doverspike; and wife, Janice Wood. Services will be at 11 am Thursday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Services & Crematory, with Pastor Jamie Woodyard officiating. There will be no visitation prior to the services.
