Bonnie Rea Allison

July 23, 1941 — June 4, 2016

Bonnie Rea (Phillips) Allison, 74, of Pendleton, Indiana, passed away on June 4, 2016.

She was born on July 23, 1941, the daughter of the late Joe and Arminda Phillips.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Jerry; her brothers, Bob and Clifford Phillips; her sons, Eric and Mark Allison; her grandchildren, Ryan, Matthew, Jenny, Amelia, Jonathan, Samuel and Wyatt; and her great-grandchildren, Leo, Alivia, Carter and Zoey.

Bonnie graduated from Magnolia High School, Matewan, West Virginia and was a member of the National Honor Society. She retired from the United States Department of Justice with 30 years government service. Bonnie loved flowers and gardening, and above all her grand and great-grandchildren. She was the glue that held family together and was always available to help anyone.

A visitation will be held from 1 until 4 p.m., Thursday, June 9, 2016 at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, 211 E. State St., Pendleton, Indiana 46064.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Disease research.
