Bonnie K. Workman, 65, Anderson, passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2010, at Saint John's Health System in Anderson following a brief illness.
She was born on January 9, 1945, in Anderson, Indiana.
She graduated from Lapel High School in 1963 and attended Indiana Business College.
Bonnie had been employed by Madison County Department of Family and Children Services; CIF in Pendleton; and Hoosier Park.
She is survived by three children, Tammy (husband, Robert) Passmore of Sheridan, Terri (husband, Greg) Douglas of Pendleton, and Todd (wife, Leslie) Springfield of Anderson; two brothers, Paul VanDuyn of Anderson and Tom (wife, Teresa) VanDuyn of Noblesville; twelve grandchildren, Kymberly Springfield, Michael Springfield, Tiffany Douglas, Justin Douglas, Parker Douglas, Tailor Springfield, Tabitha Springfield, Joshua Kelley, Broderick Smith, Natalie Passmore, Arion Passmore, and Alexander Passmore; and two great-grandchildren, Cyrus Springfield, and Dominic Springfield.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth VanDuyn; her husband, Dan Workman, a grandson, Joseph Norris; and a sister-in-law, Judy VanDuyn.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm Tuesday, June 1, 2010, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Lapel with Pastor Doug Barton officiating.
Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm Tuesday, June 1, 2010, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 217 East 7th Street, Lapel.
