NORTH MANCHESTER- Bonnie J. (Boys) Gardner, 83, formerly of Anderson, passed away February 17, 2019 at Peabody’s Retirement Community in North Manchester, Indiana, following her battle with Dementia. She was born, December 26, 1935, in Anderson, to Cornelia and Leon Boys. Bonnie Jean was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in which her faith carried her through life’s journeys. Hobbies include…kicking up her boots at the Eagle’s Lodge in Alexandria, Indiana…taking long walks along the trails at the local park…and searching for a great garage sale! She will be remembered for her incredible strength, her compassion, her attractive features, her flair for fashion, and that the Heavens received an Angel that could jitterbug! Bonnie Jean is survived by her 5 children, Trenda (Rex) Keirn of N. Manchester, Michael (Sophia) Brandon of Dunedin, Florida, Angela (Ed) Matlewski of Flint, Michigan, Tricia Millan of New Port Richey, Florida and Tina (Keith) Uccello of Pendleton; 2 brothers, Mark (Connie) Boys of Payson, Arizona, and Max Boys of N. Manchester; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren. A gathering of family and friends will be 12-2 p.m. Thursday, at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory 515 E. 53rd Street, Anderson, Indiana, and will conclude with a rosary conducted by Monsignor Robert Sell, III.
