Billy W. Hager, 72, of Middletown, passed away August 5, 2016 at his residence following an extended illness.
He was born March 25, 1944 in New Castle, the son of the late Clyde and Dorothy (Wilson) Hager.
Billy retired from Delco-Remy after 35 years of employment. He enjoyed raising Beagle’s and hunting them in competitions. He was a member of the Prairie Creek Beagle Club and the Hoosier Beagle Club. He also enjoyed dancing and family gatherings.
He is survived by three daughters, Lucinda (Rick) Bowen, Christina (Michael) Arnett, Kelli (Michael) Drake and their mother, Sharon Hager; grandchildren, Misty (Elliot) Jones, Kasie (Christopher) Smitherman, Destry Drake, Corey Hager, Desiree Arnett, Kayden Drake, Konner Arnett; great grandchildren, Landon, Madyson, Aaliyah, Denver; aunt, Patricia Watkins; and his best friend, Bonnie Taylor.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Diane Hager; and his grandmother who raised him, Alberta Chittenden.
A memorial service will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, at the Aletheia Fellowship & Ministry Center, 2505 Faith Dr., Anderson IN. 46013 with Pastor Gary McCaslin officiating.
Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the church.
