Billie Ray Love

Billie Ray Love, 80 of Wilkinson, passed away Monday, September 23, 2019 at her residence with her family by her side. She was born February 4, 1939 in London, Ky. the daughter of the late Jeff and Helen (Lawson) Johnson. Billie married the love of her life, Eugene David Love on January 10, 1959 at the Lady of Lords in Indianapolis. She was a loving mother, grandmother and quilt maker. She worked for many years at Standard Grocery as a meat packer / wrapper and at Woolworth Dept Store, member of The Home Makers club and was a private caterer. She is survived by her husband Eugene David Love; sons, Donald (Rebecca) Love of Wilkinson, Ronald (Patty) Love of Grant City, Thomas (Donna) Love of Wilkinson, John V. Love of Shirley; sisters, Jessie Weaver and Alma Morgan; brothers, Loyd and Paul Johnson. She was a special “Meme” to nine grandchildren, Christina (Rick) Evans, John C. (Sara) Love, Jayne Love, Thomas M. Love II, Nicholas Love, James D. Love, Erika Borgmann, Kayleena (Dustin) Neff, Shanda Huffman; and ten great grandchildren, Andrew Love, Dawson Neff, Keegan Borgmann, Khloe Borgmann, Noah Evans, Sarah Evans, Jake Evans, Lincoln Love, Taylor Love, Alex Huffman. She was preceded in death by her parents, two grandchildren; Ronald Dean Love II and Emma Nichole Evans; brothers, Virgil and Vurn Johnson, sister; Rosie Graham. A private service will be held at Condo St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory in Wilkinson with Pastor Rick Evans officiating. Burial to follow at McCray Cemetery.
