Bill E. Fisher

ALEXANDRIA- Bill Fisher, 81, of Alexandria, went to be with his Lord and Savior, June 29, 2021, at his residence. He was born Nov. 18, 1939, in Peru, Indiana the son of the late Ernest and Verlie Fisher and has lived in the Madison County area since his youth. He was a 1957 graduate of Anderson High School and received a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University in Animal Science. Bill’s life was characterized by his devotion to his faith, family, and farm. As a faithful member of Grace Baptist Church, he participated in many activities, particularly the choir. He loved his family and enjoyed activities with them. Bill loved animals. He made a living has an animal farmer and was well known for his expertise in their care. He is survived by his wife, Rosi Fisher; his children, Beth (Tom) Raison, Todd (Tracey) Fisher, Debbie (Ben) Evans, Amanda (Brett) Huber, Rachel (Patrick) Sassarini, and Emily (Joe) Vosburgh; grandchildren, Rick Raison, Gavin, Grace, Grant, and Gwyn Fisher, Lincoln and Mariana Evans, Corrinne, Julia, and Carson Huber, Whitney (Cameron) Kunkle, Will, Ella, and Jack Gephart, Olivia (Jacob) Owen, Isabel (Taylor) Bott, Remington, Sophia, Caroline and Hudson Vosburgh; great-grandchildren, Kylo and Willow Kunkle; a sister, Elaine Camp; and a sister-in-law, Lucille Fisher; and several nieces and nephews. Bill was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Gene Fisher. Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, at Grace Baptist Church, 432 West 300 North, Anderson Indiana 46012, with Pastor Daniel Stevens officiating. Burial will follow at East Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday, at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Indiana Christian Academy.
