Beverly J. Green

Beverly J. Green, 83, passed away at her home in Anderson, IN on November 15, 2020 following an extended illness. She was the last of three children born to James and Ruby Daugherty of Elwood, Indiana. Bev was married to Max Green, who passed away in 2004 one month after their 50th wedding anniversary. For many years they worked together running the Green Electric, Inc. Bev was a devoted grandmother and great grandmother, earning from them the title, “GG”. She was born on National Pi Day, and according to her family and friends the pies she baked were by far the best they had ever tasted. She loved to sing Barbershop music, taking part in Sweet Adeline’s choruses in Anderson, Muncie and Indianapolis spanning four decades. Bev is survived by her children: Abbie (Mark) Brunner, Jim (Becky) Green, Amy (Ken) Tescher and Rod (Seta Kejelian) Green; grandchildren: Amanda (Aaron) Spratt, Lindsey (Andy) Karkosky, Josh (Jennifer) Brunner, Krista (George) Harrison, Ryan (Brittany) Green, Kristian (Amelia) Green, Brett (Beti) Tescher, Michael (Kelly) Tescher, Glory Nwaiser and Holy Nwaiser; seventeen great grandchildren; longtime friend, Molly Huffman. Bev was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother and sister-in-law, Dale & Carrie Mae Daugherty, sister & brother-in-law, Wanda and Bud Barbee. Bev’s family will celebrate her life on November 20, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the East Maplewood Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to First Church of the Nazarene Community Center.
